Easter is the time we celebrate the death and the resurrection of Jesus. In the New Testament they tell us all about the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus was known as the Powerful Son of God. Easter is linked with the Passover in a way (Old Testament).

At the Last Supper Jesus broke bread and shared it among his Disciples. He also took the wine and gave it to them. He said,”Do this in memory of me”. He showed the bread as his body and the wine as his blood. This was preparing himself and his disciples for his death.”Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast as you really are for Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed”.

We are very excited for our Confirmation as it is getting very near.

This year Easter is on the Sunday 16th of April 2017.
