A Refugees diary (Entry 15) ” We meet a Trócaire volunteer ” by Sarah (5th)

Dear Diary,
I couldn’t sleep all night. I was tossing and turning. I got up when the sun came out and it was bright outside. Suddenly a knock came from the door. I opened it. It was a man that had a tshirt on that said ” Trócaire” on it I have heard of Trócaire before, they are a company that help sick children. the first thing he said was ” ye are going to Ireland ”

A Refugees diary (Entry14)” We hitch a car” by Macdara (5th)

Dear Diary,
After Miguel left the hospital we were stranded with only one road to follow. We set off walking when suddenly we heard a noise behind us,it was a car! The driver slowed and put down the window. He said he could help us.
He drove us to some sort of camp, but it wasn’t like our last one, there was people with glowing jackets everywhere. As soon as we had arrived, they gave us food and water and sent us to a campervan. Hopefully they will send us to some proper place soon.
Bye for now,
Amira.
