Daffodil Day is an event set up by the Irish Cancer Society. It sponsors people that have cancer. It raises awareness for people that have cancer all over the world.
Banteer N.S. 5th and 6th class are supporting Daffodil Day. We made Daffodil Day badges by printing, colouring, cutting and sticking pins on them.

They sell them in some shops to raise awareness for people that have caner. Daffodil Day supports people with cancer. Sometimes people hold runs and wear pink tops to support breast cancer.

An awareness day is usually on a day or month. It can be national or international.
International Mother Language Day has been observed annually since 2000 to promote peace and multilingualism around the world and to protect all mother languages.
