New Holland was founded in 1895 by a man named Abe Zimmerman, in Pennsylvania. The New Holland company expanded into farm implements and found success with automatic hay balers.
The Firm was acquired by Ford in 1985, and the Ford-New Holland name began to appear on tractors. The current headquarters of New Holland are in Turin, Italy.
New Holland agriculture products include tractors, combine harvesters, balers, forage harvesters, self-propelled sprayers, haying tools, seeding equipment, hobby tractors, utility vehicles and implements and grape harvesters.
