Banteeer Railway Station
Leah and I did a project on Banteer Railway Station.
It was built on the 16th of April 1853.
Some facts that I learned were that Banteer is not the only village with a railway station in Ireland but is one of very few.
The gates are automatic since 2004, before that they were closed by hand.
We also visited and took the picture above.
Leah and I picked Banteer Railway Station to do a project on because we live very close to it and we wanted to find out more about it.
