Electricity was created in the 1820s and 1830s by Michael Faraday. His method is for electricity to be generated by the movement of a loop of wire or Faraday disc, between the poles of a magnet. This method is still used today.
Light Bulbs were created by an American inventor named Thomas Edison. It took many experiments to finally get the light bulb to stay lit. The first light bulb was able to stay bright for 40 hours without burning out. By 1880 the light bulb was able to last for 1,200 hours.
