If you are to feed horses you should be very careful as they could bite your fingers off, and it will hurt.

When you are feeding horses from your hand first, you place the food on your hand. Then to feed the horse you want your palm to be flat. Place your hand under their muzzle (nose) and be patient. You should let them lick or sniff the food before eating it.

If you bend your fingers upwards while feeding the horse you are at risk of getting bitten.
